Carey L. Freeman

Mr. Freeman, Department Chair, earned an educational specialist certificate in higher education administration from The George Washington University, a MBA from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico, and a BS degree from Mississippi State University. He is a retired Air Force officer, pilot and air traffic controller. He holds the following Federal Aviation Administration licenses and ratings: airline transport pilot; gold seal certified flight instructor - airplanes and instruments, single and multi-engine; commercial pilot single – engine sea; advanced ground instructor; and control tower operator. Mr. Freeman has 43 years of flight and operational aviation experience. Mr. Freeman is a member of the Aviation Accreditation Board International and chairs accreditation visiting teams.

Margaret Browning

Margaret Browning
Assistant Professor,
and Head of Air Traffic Control Program

Mrs. Browning is an FAA certified air traffic controller, Department of Defense (DOD) certified airport manager, and a graduate of the University of Phoenix and University of Maryland. She served over 10 years in the U.S. Air Force as an air traffic controller and is both radar and tower certified. Mrs. Browning also worked as an airport manager in Ramstein, Germany for the Department of the Air Force. Currently she is faculty member in partnership with local and national air traffic control and airport management facilities.
